About

Hi :)

Hi, I’m Renate.

I’m a certified Transformational Coach, a member of the ICF and EMCC, and hold the EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA).

I believe lifelong learning is a creative process of continuously getting to know ourselves. In the context of global change, rapid technological development, and the age of AI, we need time to think and space to access our creativity in order to adapt.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked internationally across the public sector and business environments — particularly within Berlin’s tech startup ecosystem. Much of my work has taken place in fast-changing, often ambiguous contexts, collaborating with cross-cultural teams on projects where there was no clear blueprint to follow.

Today, I combine coaching, applied improvisation, and learning & development practices to support individuals and teams navigating change and growth. My work focuses on creating temporary but intentional spaces — in coaching and facilitation settings at workshops — where people feel seen and heard, and where trust and learning can begin.

Improvisation has deeply shaped how I work. It has taught me adaptability, presence, and how to move forward even when the outcome isn’t yet clear. The principles of this practice support individuals and teams in adapting to new ways of working, addressing unprecedented challenges, and accessing collective creativity.

If you’re looking for support for yourself or your team, feel free to get in touch.

I work in English and Latvian, in Berlin and Riga, as well as online.
